The roller cam consists of an input cam shaft and a roller turret.

The roller cam is designed with rolling contact, featuring high rigidity, high speed, and outstanding durability.

Engagement between the roller and cam are preloaded to fully eliminate backlash that enables the roller and cam to exhibit their ultra-high precision feature.

Besides, with rolling contact to transmit kinetic energy, energy consumption during drive can be dramatically reduced. This enables the roller cam to achieve over 90% of transmission efficiency.

YOUZHI's high-speed cam-driven AR rotary table provides high-speed cutting and indexing. It has high-precision spindle torque for simultaneous 4-axis machining, and a pneumatic brake that provides holding torque for stationary operation. The graduation accuracy is ±20 arc seconds and the repeat accuracy is 4 arc seconds.


YOUZHI's AR Series 135 mm discs have a center height of 110 mm, a through hole depth of 30 mm, a plate-like T-slot of 12 mm, six radial T-slots to simplify fixture and workpiece mounting, and manual and pneumatic tailstocks available For extra work piece support. The high-performance roller cam system uses a high-torque servomotor to drive an arc cam that meshes with a cam follower equally spaced around the diameter of the roller gear. The needle bearing in the cam follower provides smooth contact with the cam, and the precisely designed cam profile ensures accurate speed and movement. Because the roller drive is preloaded during assembly, the system has high stiffness, high torque and high speed while providing low wear characteristics and reduced maintenance.

Temperature test

The test was run from AM 08:00 and each indexing disk was run for 2 sec until PM 17:00 ended.
The test confirmed that the low friction drive has high efficiency and the oil temperature is not easy to increase.
