Hydraulic cylinder maintenance method
The installation form of hydraulic cylinders is mainly divided into two types: one is the axis fixed type, the other is the axis swing type subdivision into the base type, flange type, pull rod type, pin type, earring type, ball head type, middle Ball joint type, flange type with ribs, and combination of flange bottom angle. In general, hydraulic cylinders can be installed where they are needed.
During the installation process, it should be kept clean. To prevent the hydraulic cylinder from losing its function or premature wear, it is necessary to avoid the pulling force during installation. In particular, it should not be subjected to radial forces. When installing fittings or threaded parts, avoid crushing and bruising. Sealing materials such as putties and twine are never available and can cause oil contamination, resulting in loss of function of the hydraulic cylinder. When installing hydraulic hoses, care should be taken to avoid torque.
Hydraulic cylinder oil must comply with the manufacturer's instructions. Before connecting the hydraulic cylinder, the hydraulic system must be thoroughly flushed. During the flushing process, the hydraulic cylinder connection pipe should be closed. It is advisable to rinse continuously for about half an hour before connecting the hydraulic cylinder to the eight hydraulic systems.
In the case of high impact loads, close attention should be paid to the lubrication of the hydraulic cylinder support. In particular, after the new system is started, the function and leakage of the hydraulic cylinder should be checked repeatedly. After starting, it is also necessary to check whether the shaft line is centered. If it is not centered, the center line of the hydraulic cylinder or machine element should be readjusted to achieve alignment.
It is very important to keep the hydraulic oil clean. When oiling, use a filter lower than 60 microns for filtration. The filters connected to the system are cleaned at least once every 100 hours of operation and then once a month, at least once at each oil change. It is recommended to replace all new oil when changing oil and thoroughly clean the tank.
During use, attention should be paid to the prevention of loosening, dust and rust prevention of the hydraulic cylinder. When reusing it after a long period of deactivation, clean the exposed rod surface with a clean cotton cloth. Start with no-load operation and wait until it is normal before attaching the implement.
As a spare part, the hydraulic cylinder is recommended to be stored in a dry, damp-tight place. There should be no corrosive substances or gases in the storage area. Appropriate protective oil should be added. It is best to use the oil as a medium to operate the hydraulic cylinder several times. When it is enabled, to thoroughly clean the protective oil in the hydraulic cylinder, it is recommended that the time for the first replacement of the new oil should be shorter than usual. During the storage process, the hydraulic cylinder inlet and outlet ports should be tightly sealed to protect the piston rod from mechanical damage or oxidation corrosion.
